GoTicks!

GoTicks!

A collaborative game designed to foster dialogue around the prevention of tick-related risks between local stakeholders and citizens.

GoTicks!

GoTicks! is a serious game involving two types of players: local prevention stakeholders (health, public sector, environment, education) and citizens. Together, they must coordinate to address the challenges of preventing tick bites within a territory.

Players share a limited pool of resources (time, finances, and human resources), which they must manage collectively to carry out an effective prevention campaign over time. The objective is to strike a balance between optimal use of resources and their preservation, in order to avoid depletion before the end of the game.

Based on cooperation and collective decision-making, the game highlights the challenges of coordination between stakeholders and the need to balance different action strategies.

GAMAE members contributed to the development of GoTicks!, which serves as a tool for dialogue between professionals and citizens on managing tick-related risks. The game is currently being improved and adapted to new audiences, particularly in the Indian Ocean region in partnership with CIRAD.
